Mahatma Gandhi
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, often known as Mahatma Gandhi, was an Indian lawyer, politician, social activist, and author who was the leader of the superpatriotic movement against British control of India. He was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, India, and died on January 30, 1948, in Delhi. He arrived as the father of his country as a result. Gandhi is well-known around the world for his peaceful (satyagraha) approach to achieving social and political change.
